Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Autobom app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies.

What Autobom does

You upload a photo of a room and describe how it should feel. Autobom reads the room, picks real pieces from real stores, and produces a photo of the room furnished with them, along with a shopping list that links to each listing.

Your account

You need an account with a verified email address. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old. You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab.

Credits

• One credit furnishes one room. Each new look or adjustment of a room is one credit.
• New accounts receive a small number of free credits.
• Credits are consumable, one-time purchases. They never expire and stay on your account across devices.
• Credits cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.
• A credit is taken only when a room is furnished. If the furnishing fails, the credit is returned.
• Deleting your account forfeits any credits left on it.

Purchases and refunds

Credit packs are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are charged to your store account at the price shown before you confirm. Payment, receipts, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. If a purchase is refunded, the credits from that pack are removed from your account. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Your photos and briefs

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us permission to store them and to process them, including with OpenAI, in order to furnish the room, as described in the privacy policy. Upload only photos you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, or anything unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

The furnished photo

The furnished photo and the shopping list are generated by AI models. They are an illustration of how the room could look, not a guarantee. Pieces are sized from a single photo and may not fit exactly. Colours, textures, and proportions in the photo may differ from the real product. Check measurements and details on the store's listing before you buy. You may use the furnished photo for personal purposes, including sharing it.

Store listings

The listings in the shopping list belong to third-party stores. Prices, availability, and product details are taken from the stores and may change or be out of date. Buying from a store is a contract between you and that store. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the products, delivery, or the store's service.

Fair use

The app limits how many rooms an account can read per day. Do not try to get around limits, reverse engineer the app, scrape the catalogue, or use the service in a way that harms it or other users. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability

We work to keep Autobom running, but it depends on third-party services and may be slow, interrupted, or changed. We may add, change, or remove features and stores. If we discontinue the app, we will say so in advance where reasonably possible.

Liability

Autobom is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, for purchases you make from stores, or for decisions you take based on a furnished photo. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
